Wii remote synced but won't talk to games. - opulence - 04-13-2012

Hi,

Have got the wiimote synced and the computer is recongnising the inputs using Darwiinremote, its says 1 wii mote connected in the wiimote settings box but when I play the game (greg hastings tournament paintball 2) it only recognises the keyboard inputs and not what the wii is doing.

What have I done wrong?

You've either got it set to emulated or hybrid Wiimote, not real Wiimote.

It is a real Wii mote though. I can get it to say that it has one wii mote connected but it doesn't do the vibrate thing. I've found that it only works if I can get the wii mote to vibrate when I hit refresh.

That's right, if it doesn't vibrate, it won't work.

I find that the sooner I open dolphin, go into the Wiimote config, and refresh it after connecting it by Bluetooth the more likely it is to work. Sometimes if I've already linked it to glovepie then I have to disconnect it in the Bluetooth stack and reconnect it to make it work.
