RE: Tales of Symphonia questions. - Garteal - 04-13-2012 Quote:but if I check the box for Instant Spellcast, my ToS won't even start. Are you trying this with the NTSC or the PAL version of the game? The code is a NTSC code, thus it will not work with the PAL version of the game. Try using these with the PAL version of the game, and let me know if it works. Just try it out and get the Dolphin build, which works best for you ![]() Maybe the ICC build gives you more FPS, but i cannot guarantee this. RE: Tales of Symphonia questions. - AnyOldName3 - 04-13-2012 Quote:Alright, my CPU has SSSE3, 4.1 and 4.2, so would that benefit it also, even though it's not a notebook? I mainly use one of lectrode's ICC builds, and it may be faster, and has no noticeable problems, so even if it is a gimmick for me, I don't lose out. Big Grin Dunno when I'm gonna get around to that anyway.Lol, I´m talking about when I was at stock. Should´ve made that clear. Interesting. Since that's your experience on Windows, I decided to tinker around with my build. Seems like I can now get 57~60 FPS during those intense battle scenes by switching the audio backend to AOSound on Linux. I thought OpenAL had better performance on this game, but apparently not. But what was that about drops in the menus? Just switching to them or actually using them? Well, DefenderX's build had a terrible result on my PC, will try Lectrode's now, if that fails aswell, back to stable 3.0 it is!

Just switching to them or actually using them?Yeah, most submenu's, Techs-/Item-/ and especially the Synopsis screen (when you open an entry) drops the FPS. RE: Tales of Symphonia questions. - Akatsui - 04-13-2012 Thanks for the codes Garteal, unfortunately, they do not work either. I can live without, also, is there a reason why the menu's cause FPS drops? RE: Tales of Symphonia questions. - DefenderX - 04-14-2012 I think, the option "Skip Destination Alpha Pass" can improve the performance in menu's. (Well, this is so in Metroid Prime Trilogy) RE: Tales of Symphonia questions. - Akatsui - 04-15-2012 (04-14-2012, 04:24 AM)DefenderX Wrote: I think, the option "Skip Destination Alpha Pass" can improve the performance in menu's.
