Well, I have codes for my american copy of Sa2b, but none for my european copy.
I have enabled to codes, the AR codes work perfectly, but if I check the box for Instant Spellcast, my ToS won't even start.

Maybe this is a kind of cheat code, which doesn't work Wink

Then why do people develop it and put it in the Gecko Database >.<

Oh well, this forum has been an amazing help to me so far, just 1 last question remains.

Why does the audio plugin HLE miss out on instruments on certain games?

RE: Tales of Symphonia questions. - DefenderX - 04-13-2012

Because HLE is less accurate as LLE. Wink

But LLE is more demanding for the CPU as HLE - Yeah, there are two different sides of the medal. Big Grin

Is there any way developers can improve on HLE and LLE to make LLE less demanding or HLE more accurate? Like, something in between?
Tales of Symphonia plays like a dream with HLE, but the audio is lackluster.

RE: Tales of Symphonia questions. - DefenderX - 04-13-2012

I don't know if HLE will be one day as accurate as LLE. But afaik, the devs are working at the improvement of HLE Wink

Lol, I´m talking about when I was at stock. Should´ve made that clear. Tongue
At this clock I basically have a lot of overhead.

D3D ftw

Awesome!!
I am really looking forward to something as fast as HLE with more accuracy!
Does Dolphin have a feed on new builds?

Also, DefenderX, when I used one of your ICC builds, I didn't know what to expect, you know, what was different.
I have no clue what ICC stands for, but I'll stick with the 'original' dolphin since I got this one running nicely now. Tongue

RE: Tales of Symphonia questions. - DefenderX - 04-13-2012

ICC stands for "Intel C++ Composer/Compiler". When i compile Dolphin Builds with this Compiler, i can set special ICC instructions (e.g. SSSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2), which CAN make Dolphin run faster. Yeah, usually, Notebooks can benefit from this builds Wink

but well, this is offtopic.

Alright, my CPU has SSSE3, 4.1 and 4.2, so would that benefit it also, even though it's not a notebook?
