Strang Pokemon Colloseum sound - chasejr753 - 04-10-2012

Whenever I try to play Pokemon Colosseum, the sound sounds scratchy and distorted. Does anybody know what could be wrong?

Looking at the Dolphin Wiki entry for that game, HLE audio is choppy, but LLE audio solves that issue. Though LLE audio needs to have near full-speed so that it doesn't encounter any issues itself. It'll also demand more from your hardware. LLE audio requires you to dump your DSP files from your console. There's a guide here. If you have a quad-core CPU, it's probably best to enable "LLE on Thread" so Dolphin can use a separate thread to process the audio and give you some more performance.

Fixed it by setting audio from DSound to XAudio2.
