I don't know, but maybe you accidentally turned it on more.
Honestly, posting while I type, again. This is tedious.

btw: You can also try ICC optimized Dolphin builds to increase the FPS rate. Your Intel Pentium supports Supplemental Streaming SIMD Extensions 3 (SSSE3). Just click on the link in my signature and test, if my ICC builds are faster Wink

I'd just like to say that I just tried it, and I'm very happy with the results I got Smile

The game is actually a bit more playable now and has less slowdowns. Thanks!

Now to overclocking...

You do know that the Pentium E5X00 series is based on the Core 2 Duo (which is not so bad) and NOT the Netburst based Pentium 4, right?

His cpu is about the equivalent of a 2.2GHz core 2 duo as far as dolphin is concerned. A bit too weak for most games.

RE: Optimal Settings for my hardware - DefenderX - 04-09-2012

Well, if he has the possibility to overclock his CPU, the thing looks different Wink

@ic3coldh20: For overclocking, make sure, that you have a good CPU cooler.

and these sandybridge pentiums are raping amd's !

RE: Optimal Settings for my hardware - AnyOldName3 - 04-09-2012

That isn't hard. (But I do get his point, there are reasonable pentiums, but they are usually not very good.)

He doesn't.
