Gamecube controller recognized in GCPad but not in-game - Barinade - 04-04-2012 I have a standard, non-third party wired Gamecube controller that is recognized in GCPad but games do not pick up any input from it once they are launched. I bought a Mayflash 3 in 1 USB adapter to connect my controller to my computer, and like I said GCPad works fine and I am able to configure the buttons, so I don't believe the problem is with the adapter. I see that this topic has been made a lot, but the standard answer given about making sure Port 1 is set to "Standard Controller" does nothing for me. The linked screenshots are the current relevant settings I have http://i.imgur.com/Ud4Zc.png http://i.imgur.com/Pkvy7.jpg If it is at all relevant, previously I used an Afterglow Xbox 360 wired controller with no issues, but I prefer the Gamecube's analog sticks in certain games Whoops, forgot to mention some extra details to avoid this thread getting closed. My system has a GTX 560 Ti 448 cores video card, Intel i5-2500k processor, and 8GB of RAM (Corsair Vengeance). I am using Dolphin build 3.0-508. The games I have tried to play with this controller are Super Smash Bros. Melee and Mario Kart RE: Gamecube controller recognized in GCPad but not in-game - Sukid - 04-04-2012 I have the same adapter, but I don't remember having that problem. ... it's been having a few other issues but it's fine otherwise. Still, get rid of the modifier keys, leave those blank. I'm also fairly certain I don't have background input checked. Continued searching through this forum suggests that I have an older version of Dolphin since some people say they have 3.0.1, so I am going to look for that and try reinstalling it to see if it works. Ha, I fixed the problem. My threshold was set way too high. I lowered everything to 50 and it works fine. Sorry for yet another one of these threads |
