He's appreciated on this forum (by me at least Yeah I remember that time, I actually begged to be banned just because I was here all the time hence why I built up my post count so quickly. I didn't thought I could come back so when I saw that my name wasn't crossed over like banned accounts are I decided to start post again. I'm not quite as active as I was back last year but I like this place and all roads end up here eventually. Dolphin wise I don't have to much to say at the moment. Everything seems to work as it should and I give sporadically thoughts, ideas and hunches. I'm a weird guy and I like my place here, serious but also funny. RE: After all these years of... - DefenderX - 04-07-2012 Now i have enough of the new games. Always too easy for me Now i have started to play all my old games like Donkey Kong Country, Mario Kart 64 and so on. And i have to say: They are really harder than the games from today long time ago ( ), the gamers were apparently better and they seemed to have more endurance.
RE: After all these years of... - DacoTaco - 04-07-2012 thats cause back in those days people would play a single game a whole weekend just to beat it. at least my brothers did and so have i on a few games RE: After all these years of... - DefenderX - 04-07-2012 newer games are developed in order to beat them quickly. E.g. Super Mario 3D Land: I finished it in a week (100%). the same with Wii games such as New Super Mario Bros Wii, or Donkey Kond Country Returns. 100% counts today not so much as for... 10 years. I feel like that with new games. But since the games is a lot bigger today I need a full week instead of a tiny weekend to beat them at least on easy. Made to be sold and quickly beaten yes. Commercial reasons? Not sure (even if I tend to fairly think it is). Games are so technologically developed that we may admit a 100-hours-game isn't always possible
