upgrading, will I see any changes? - narshade - 03-20-2012

Hi guys. My current PC specs are:

AMD Phenom II X2 555 black edition (3,2 ghz dual core)
nvidia geforce 9500GT ( 1gb gddr2)
2GB ram ddr2 800

I'm thinking about changing my motherboard to one which supports ddr3 ram and usb 3.0
So Im thinking about upgrading the ram to 4gb ddr3 1333.

So i'm wondering, am I gonna see any noticeable improvement on dolphin?ยด

It might sound like a silly question for most of you
but I'm not really sure the rol the ram plays in the emulation process

Just like every other thread in this section suggests, a strong CPU is most important, more/better Ram is not going to help at all. An i5 or i7 CPU with a decent video card is needed for best results. Please try to do some reading before creating another thread that has been posted hundreds of times before.
