RE: Lion Mac - anoxy - 03-24-2012 Indeed! It's working on a consistent basis now so here's how I do it, with pictures: 1. Click on the little bluetooth icon on your menu bar, and select "Set Up Bluetooth Device..." ![]() 2. It should give you this window. "Searching for Bluetooth Devices" ![]() 3. Press the little red SYNC button on the back of your Wii Remote, and it should show up in the device list. Select your Wii Remote and click "Continue" ![]() 4. If you've already connected the remote before, it will give you this window. If not, disregard this step. Click "OK" ![]() 5. This window should appear saying pairing was unsuccessful. So you want to click "Passcode Options" ![]() 6. Once this pops up, click "Do not use a passcode with this device" and click OK. ![]() 7. Keep the Bluetooth Setup Assistant window open, and check the Bluetooth menu in your menu bar to see if the Wii Remote is connected. ![]() 8. Now open up Dolphin 9. Click "Wiimote" 10. Choose "Real Wiimote" 11. Press the little red SYNC button on the back of your Wii Remote 12. Click "Refresh" in Dolphin 13. When it says "1 Connected" immediately launch your game and the first LED light should come on and everything should work. Also, I am using this Duracell sensor bar (great product) if it makes any difference. RE: Lion Mac - stefanosn - 03-24-2012 Thanks for telling us Anoxy...I have done it but after it vibrates no first LED light show up! Instead the controller shuts down immediately! So frustrating!!! Any thoughts? By the way what version of dolphin you use? RE: Lion Mac - anoxy - 03-24-2012 I'm using 3.0-458. Those last steps are really important. Don't close the Bluetooth Set-up assistant, and immediately launch the game when it says "1 connected" in Dolphin. Once the game is launched, press any button (I press A) and the light should come on. If that doesn't work, shoot. Sorry man. Are you using a new TR Wii Remote? Or is it the older version? RE: Lion Mac - AnyOldName3 - 03-24-2012 Also try changing its batteries. RE: Lion Mac - stefanosn - 03-24-2012 (03-24-2012, 05:57 AM)anoxy Wrote: I'm using 3.0-458. It is the older version of the wii controller and i am using 3.0 because it does not pair at 3.0-458! (03-24-2012, 06:21 AM)AnyOldName3 Wrote: Also try changing its batteries. What about the batteries? I bought new batteries ... do i have to buy specific batteries to work! RE: Lion Mac - AnyOldName3 - 03-24-2012 No, but flat batteries will often cause it to connect, then disconnect once you actually start using it. If they are new, then there should be no reason to change them. RE: Lion Mac - stefanosn - 03-24-2012 Hey i've done it on dolphin 3.0 ! Not working in 3.0-458 or 415. The problem was at the pairing part. Step 6 of the steps from Anoxy! Thank you so much guys! Especially Anoxy ![]() One last question the D-PAD is working without a sensor bar? (is working on mine without a sensor bar) What exactly the sensor bar does? Also i do not have sounds from the controller when i am playing tennis for example i do not hear the "tok" sound from the controller. RE: Lion Mac - AnyOldName3 - 03-24-2012 The d pad should be independent from the sensor bar, as the sensor bar just provides two points of IR light for the camera in the end of the WiiMote to see. From how far the two point are from each other, and their rotation and location the Wiimote can work out which bit of the screen it is pointing at, and what way up it is etc. The D pad, however, is just four buttons which are not connected to the IR camera, so should work without the sensor bar as a source of light.
