how to tell dolphin how many gamecube controllers are connected? - whenthedanceisthrough - 03-18-2012 I've been using Dolphin as GC single player for a while. Now I want to use it as multiplayer. I bought some new gamepads online but while I'm waiting for them to arrive, I thought I'd set player 2 as keyboard and load some test configuration and see if it worked. But all the games I load, don't recognise the keys assigned to controller 2, and some even say things like "you must have at least 2 controllers connected to use this function". So how do you tell Dolphin how many controllers are connected? Clearly, the games think I only have one controller plugged in. Sorry for being a noob, I found the answer eventually. You have to click "Config" then "Gamecube" and under Device Settings change Port 2 from "None" to "Standard Controller". RE: how to tell dolphin how many gamecube controllers are connected? - ulao - 03-18-2012 Make sure to set your ports in options->gamecube. Just set all ports to standard controller. |
