RE: ZTP no sound after x amount of time. - ulao - 03-22-2012 Well the new cpu is here and I'm not sure I have what I need set right. This is all for experimenting I'm happy with HLE emulation but I'm want to toy with LLE. I read this thread http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=8729 but its out dated a bit. is LLE ready, or still very buggy? so far the emulation is very fast but sound on its own thread is still very choppy. ![]() My new chip is running at 4.0 4 cores. Anything over that and its unstable. RE: ZTP no sound after x amount of time. - ExtremeDude2 - 03-22-2012 Try dsound Also how did you manage to double post? RE: ZTP no sound after x amount of time. - AnyOldName3 - 03-22-2012 He didn't just double post, he double edited (or the pics didn't get sent to my pc by the server the first time I looked at this) RE: ZTP no sound after x amount of time. - ulao - 03-22-2012 LOL no idea The site has been acting weird all day for me. I did go back and delete one. I did also try dsound but didnt see any change. I read this thread http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=20275 So LLE has to sync? Meaning my game must play at 30 frames for the sound to be right? RE: ZTP no sound after x amount of time. - AnyOldName3 - 03-22-2012 This site always acts weird for me. No one else except two people is online (slight exaggeration), and it runs at under 5Kbps. Check my internet speed and am getting 3.3 to 8.4 Mbps, but this shouldn't happen, as I can use the site fine when hundreds of people are using it simultaneously. This means that dolphin's server is running slowly, but for no reason. RE: ZTP no sound after x amount of time. - Shonumi - 03-22-2012 Yeah, LLE needs to have full-speed, or speeds close to it, in order to sound right. The lower your speeds, the less likely LLE audio will sound good. What speeds are you getting? RE: ZTP no sound after x amount of time. - ulao - 03-22-2012 Well I'm confused on how to bench this? I just tried playing with a few settings and I can run 26-30 frames. I'm guessing since my game is NTSC 30 frames are 100%, no? I was hopping to use the EFB coppies as RAM with my new CPU but that puts me down to 12 FPS. Though with my old CPU I was at 12 FPS with EFB at texture, so I'm finally able to run at 30
RE: ZTP no sound after x amount of time. - Shonumi - 03-22-2012 Most NTSC games are 60 FPS for full-speed, but a handful of them run at 30. Skies of Arcardia and Super Mario Sunshine are a couple that I have that run at 30 FPS. The thing to watch is the percentage at the bottom of the Dolphin window; you should see it if you don't run Dolphin fullscreen. RE: ZTP no sound after x amount of time. - ulao - 03-22-2012 Oh its on top for me. Seems to stay around 85-95 during play. Ok with a bit of a FSB boost and HT at 2400 I can now hit 100% most of the time, I get a dip to 95 here and there, going to use low level and see what I get. RE: ZTP no sound after x amount of time. - ulao - 03-24-2012 When I set the option from HLE to LLE my percent drops by 40? I can easily hit 100% now on HLE but no way can I do this with LLE. From what I read this should not happen, LLE should just do its thing on its own core. Could I have something wrong? |
