How to use a downloaded gamecube save - RockandGrohl - 03-15-2012
So I downloaded a SSBM game save, and I want to use it as the main save on Dolphin, how do I do this? Thanks.

Goto tools GC memory card manager, on the left side navigate to the memory card A (should be there by default) and on the right side navigate to the save file, click on the <--- import GCI button
PS - make a backup of the memory card before attempting

Ok, so on the left under Memory Card A, I click browse and select my SSBM Save game data (the .raw file)
And then what? How do I load my .gci / .gcs file?

The save you downloaded is in .gci right?
Leave the left side, it should already be on memorycardA, navigate the right to the .gci save you got, then click '<--- import gci' button

Does this mean you already have SSBM save file on the memory card, regardless the new should overwrite the old or both will be available
