They talk about GC Mic not about Wii Mic. Do you think it also works for Wii?

No, it's not the same. The Wii microphone connects to the USB port. The GC microphone connects to the memory card slot.
Currently, the Wii microphone is still not working. After the Wii HID branch code is finished, hopefully it will work.
