the remote dosnt detect the sensor ( 2 candles) - blibz69 - 03-07-2012 hi all for some reason wii remote cant detect the the 2 candles on dolphin i bought a wii remote and nunchuck off eBay i think its made buy Nintendo cos it has the Nintendo logo on the back near the battery case but it fully works when u use WiinRemote for the pc as a mouse but for some reason it doesn't work for dolphin could i have updated to direct 9 i also have direct 11 auto installed on the laptop the game i am using is the Legend of zelda : Skyward sword system info widows 64bit Intel core i7 NVIDIA GEFORCE 560M RAM : 16 GB RE: the remote dosnt detect the sensor ( 2 candles) - silveruniverse - 03-07-2012 too close? step back a bit and see if it does anything on another note: why do you have 16GB of RAM? RE: the remote dosnt detect the sensor ( 2 candles) - kernel64 - 03-08-2012 Glovepie or other tools (I haven't tested Wiinremote) uses internal Wiimote gyrosensors to track the mouse position, that's why you don't need a sensor bar or candles to move the mouse. However, if Dolphin is using it as a real Wiimote, then you need the sensor bar or the candles. Quote:on another note: why do you have 16GB of RAM?He has a corei7. 16 GB is not THAT much anymore. Edit: Apparently Wiinremote uses the IR sensor, are you sure you are using the IR function instead of the Motion sensor in Wiinremote? Maybe you are too close as silveruniverse said. Also, try to shorten the distance between candles. RE: the remote dosnt detect the sensor ( 2 candles) - AnyOldName3 - 03-08-2012 You can get more, and in theory windows 7 ultimate supports about 128 GB and the more recent server OSs support a few Terabytes. RE: the remote dosnt detect the sensor ( 2 candles) - ulao - 03-08-2012 16 gb? LOL why on earth would you question that? From what I here dolphin wont touch much more then 4GB, some say > 2GB is a complete over kill. I have 4GB my self and play at very comfortable speeds. RE: the remote dosnt detect the sensor ( 2 candles) - AnyOldName3 - 03-08-2012 Yeah, above 8GB is for high end video editing and for servers. However it is a good way to trick dumb people into paying £100 more for something they'll never notice and could buy for £50. RE: the remote dosnt detect the sensor ( 2 candles) - ulao - 03-08-2012 I just did some tests. My win7 runs using about 1.5 GB or ram. When I run games I may hit 2 GB, thus far nothing more. RE: the remote dosnt detect the sensor ( 2 candles) - blibz69 - 03-08-2012 Ok back to mi question y isnt this working for me plz anserw thanks RE: the remote dosnt detect the sensor ( 2 candles) - ulao - 03-08-2012 Well you didn answer the "step back" You can not be that close. Also did you set top or bottom? From you pic it looks very dark in the room ( this is good ) make sure you dont have other lights near by. And make sure the BT ( if you have a dongle ) is in the open. If its in the back of the system it may not work right and never receive IR data from the wand. |
