using dual display - stkelly52 - 03-05-2012
I am currently trying to set up Dolphin to run 1080 on my secondary display (Which is my 1080p HDTV). When I try to set the resolution under Graphics 1080 is not an option unless I swap and make my TV as my primary display. I guess I could do that, but it is a pain to have to swap it every time. Is there any way to force it to run 1080 on my secondary display?

I'm not sure if that actually works, but you might want to try changing the value of "FullscreenResolution" in the "[Display]" section of User/Config/Dolphin.ini to the desired resolution.

I tried to do this a while ago to with no luck, couldnt get the values in the .ini file to work, do share if you find a working fix.

[color=#C71585]Had this problem with every game i tried (not just dolphin, but PC games and PS2 emulator), found possible solution right click desktop>screen resolution>click 1080p monitor, select as primary monitor>reboot+^_^+ worked for me!! and i just moved my task-bar and icons over, my laptop remembers it so when i plug it in i don't have to do nothing but enjoy+^_^+[/color]
