You can't multiply clock speed by the number of cores you have. A 100 core cpu won't be faster than a single core cpu in single threaded applications, assuming uarch and clock speed is the same. RE: strange screen - downloadaja - 06-25-2009 Yeah, I know about that, and we're speaking about Dolphin, which support Dual Core (although not perfectly using them). But even in a single thread applications, the speed should be faster since the OS's works will be done by another core and made the other core focused on the application. I'd love to see the day that the OS actually schedules processor time on multiple cores correctly... without using threading trickery
