God damn its going to be hard, the textures are the chars split up so each frame is scattered around. Also, I believe a malon sprite is used in a zelda flash game on newgrounds so it must have been ripped from somewhere RE: How to rip sprites? - Crocomire - 06-19-2009 Malon appears in The Minish Cap on GBA, BUT it won't be the same exact sprites I'm sure, especially as Malon only ever rides a horse in FSA. So it's definitely the FSA sprites I need ;/ So how are you getting to the point you're at right now? I've tried using so called ISO extractors, but I don't think they're what I intended them to be -.- RE: How to rip sprites? - steelslasher - 06-19-2009 i did have a look at iso extraction, using a .gcm i opened it in wii scrubber and extracted a "logo.arc" which contained .bti files which i gues are logo in several languages. The textures exported by dolphin will be exactly the same as far as i can tell except they can be edited in gimp, just look in the advanced gfx settings for the export setting and it will export every single texture loaded. Just make sure you get a 100% completed save so that you can play the level with malon in it |
