Pal Games - 50Fps or 60Fps? - Holywater - 03-25-2011

Hey guys.
I'm using the latest Dolphin Release ( r7411 ).
I live in germany so I ofc have all my Games in PAL.
Question :

Is 50fps right or 60?
Because I almost got in every Game 60Fps not 50.

A answer would be great.

Wii PAL games can be run at either 60 or 50. However the normal speed is 50.

Alright thank you.

The normal speed is 50 for PAL. But many support the PAL60 mode, which run the game at 60.
You can go to config - Wii, and untick "Use EuRGB60 Mode" if you want to run the game at 50 and get a free performance boostBig Grin

When i try SMG PAL with DSP LLE (with audio throttle disabled) the music is not distorted by the slowdowns of the game at all, however the music plays TOO FAST and also the sounds .... with VPS going too high (80/90+) .... if i enabled audio throttle the speed will not pass 30fps with 60vps and the music and sounds are at normal speed with no distortion also......

Using R7409......
EDIT : disabling PAL60 Mode...

i generally have frame limiter set to off and audio throttle on. seems to work perfect with any game, hle and lle.

Yes, it should. Slower than vps limiting + no audio throttle though, and just as accurate.
