GTS 450 too slow for SSBM? - youra6 - 03-23-2011 Hi everyone! I have a SB 2600K overclocked to 4.8GHZ HT on and a GTS 450 that is overclocked to 950+ core. However, it seems that not even a mid ranged Nvidia card can run GC games at 16AF and 9AA at 1080P. Of course, when I reduce to 4AA, it runs much smoother. Any thoughts on this? I didn't know that GC games required that much graphical power (I have plenty CPU power )
RE: GTS 450 too slow for SSBM? - Anti-Ultimate - 03-23-2011 It's Supersampling AA which a GTS450 can't handle that much. Stick with 4x RE: GTS 450 too slow for SSBM? - youra6 - 03-23-2011 (03-23-2011, 02:29 AM)Anti-Ultimate Wrote: It's Supersampling AA which a GTS450 can't handle that much. SSAA? Thought it was MSAA. RE: GTS 450 too slow for SSBM? - silveruniverse - 03-23-2011 says 4x and 9x SSAA on direct3d9 (using r7374) RE: GTS 450 too slow for SSBM? - youra6 - 03-23-2011 (03-23-2011, 03:21 AM)silveruniverse Wrote: says 4x and 9x SSAA on direct3d9 (using r7374) Well that explains it then. Thanks you guys. |
