Will HLE going to be support Wiimote-speaker speaker or faster LLE in dolphin 3.0? - souravstar - 03-19-2011 Will HLE going to be support Wiimote-speaker speaker or faster LLE in dolphin 3.0? Please help. When I use HLE, I can't have sounds from wiimote(I know HLE not support it) and if I use LLE it sounds like it's skipping sound, mostly bass. I tried disabling 'audio throttle' but nothing changes. Actually, I just want sound from wiimote(as I'm playing FATAL FRAME 4 and hearing phonecalls through wiimote is one of the coolest feature of it) with sound like HLE. So if is there any code or something, please tell. RE: Will HLE going to be support Wiimote-speaker speaker or faster LLE in dolphin 3.0? - dannzen - 03-19-2011 i dont know why just one function call is so problematic? 'cause I'm gonna play it with headphones so the calls gonna scare my family members (currently I've reached any places where phonecall happens as i just tested till start of the real chapter) RE: Will HLE going to be support Wiimote-speaker speaker or faster LLE in dolphin 3.0? - NaturalViolence - 03-20-2011 Quote:Please help. Because your hardware is not sufficient for emulating the audio at fullspeed, since the game has to stay in sync with the audio it creates those skips. LLE is basically as perfect as it's going to get right now. And neither of these are considered actual issues by the developers since they can be avoided by using lle/having fast hardware. If no one feels like doing it (which is likely) it won't block a release, so I wouldn't expect it. I know it's not a big problem and I never tried to make wiimote speaker work with games till my interest increased in horror games. And wiimote speaker is a very important in WII horror games, it increases the experience and in Calling, the calls are the main so maybe now you understand. The fact is that every horror game is trying to use the wiimote as phone now and in future too and they put this in their main features. So, there should be patches for atleast horror games.

First of all it should be "unsync LLE audio so that audio could be slower than video". LLE audio will rarely ever be faster than the video thread, if it was then you wouldn't be experiencing any kind of slowdown. And second, you can unsync the audio by just turning off audio throttle, but it won't help that much, the distortion will still be present as long as you can't run it at fullspeed. RE: Will HLE going to be support Wiimote-speaker speaker or faster LLE in dolphin 3.0? - l3illyl3ob - 03-26-2011 Well, I really hope that the dolphin devs aren't done optimizing the LLE DSP, if they're done fixing games for HLE. That would push up the requirements too high, imo. I have a new Phenom II X4 and most games don't run at full speed on LLE. Is there really no more that can be done to make it faster? If so, that's disappointing. RE: Will HLE going to be support Wiimote-speaker speaker or faster LLE in dolphin 3.0? - NaturalViolence - 03-26-2011 They aren't concerned about hardware requirements. Hardware will catch up eventually just like it did with project64 (which in it's infant years was almost impossible to run any game at fullspeed on, but now any pos 6 year old system can do it). Their goal has to be creating an accurate emulator. |
