dualcore question! - laldans - 03-18-2011 Hi! I've tried to play Zelda: Wind Waker on a computer I don't know the specs of (and being a complete computer noob, I've got no idea how to see my specs ) but what I do know is that my computer runs normal pc games (all pc games) on full power with no lag whatsoeverAfter a bit of trial and error I found that activating Dual-Core makes my game go 100% but after a few minutes it crashes. Does anyone know a way around this? Without dual core the game hangs around 100% in small spaces, but goes to 60-80% in bigger places like The Forsaken Fortress. Thanks in advance.
RE: dualcore question! - Starscream - 03-18-2011 Without you providing the PC specs, the Dolphin version number and the settings used, there is not much anyone can do. RE: dualcore question! - laldans - 03-18-2011 ![]() Here are my settings. I'm on Windows 7, 64 bit with an Nvidia Geforce GTX 470. My processor is an amd phenom ii x6 1055t. That's about all the dirt I managed to dig up :p if you need any more, just say so and I'll see what I can do RE: dualcore question! - laldans - 03-18-2011 sad bump :< RE: dualcore question! - parasite64 - 03-18-2011 Revision of Dolphin? Dualcore should help; Turn on EFB Copy (RAM), Enable Audio Throttle (Off). RE: dualcore question! - laldans - 03-19-2011 I've worked out my problem. I assumed I had to get the 64bit version of Dolphin due to me running 64bit, just found out that the 32bit version works as well, without crasing due to DualCore. Problem solved
