Can I lower the game resolution? - yuuko12 - 03-15-2011

I figure if I play the game at a low res like 320x240 I would get good fps. Atm I only get 20fps which is painful. In settings I can specify the window size but all that does is scale it.

By the way can my computer run Dolphin? I don't care about graphics all I want is the game to run smooth.
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20GHz
2GB RAM, ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series graphics

It might be best to change some of the graphics settings (such as turning off Accurate Texture Cache) to help you. What revision are you using and what are computer specs?

I have messed with various settings but no luck. On still screens I can get 60fps but as soon as there is any type of movement it hovers at 10-20fps. I am using Dolphin r7345, and I edited my first post with my computer specs.

The computer is hopeless. You need to upgrade everything.

To get the fps to at least 30, turn off all eye candy in the graphics plugin, set resolution to as low as possible,
turn off per-pixel lighting. Set framelimiter to off.

Sorry to inform, but that computer isn't very powerful. It might be worth upgrading (because not only will you be able to play dolphin at good speeds, but everything else will be much faster)
