VCOMP100.DLL error - latest revisions won't even open. - hypnotoad - 03-11-2011 First off, I was upset when I extracted the revision and, instead of creating an x64 folder, it just dumped all the files in the folder where I keep all my revisions. A little uniformity would be nice, here. Thanks. And I can't even get these revisions to even start up. It says: Quote:The program can't start because VCOMP100.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. What good is that? Why can't the whole thing run from the same one folder, like it always has been? Thanks. Sorry to nag. RE: VCOMP100.DLL error - latest revisions won't even open. - thatguyzp - 03-11-2011 I believe for the newer revisions of the 64bit Emu you need the x64 version of the Visual C++ 2010 runtimes. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=bd512d9e-43c8-4655-81bf-9350143d5867&pf=true Install that and it should work. RE: VCOMP100.DLL error - latest revisions won't even open. - hypnotoad - 03-11-2011 Alright. I got it to start. Thanks thatguyzp. But, I was about to go back to 6100 something, because Metroid Other M causes recent revisions to crash before you can save the game, and save state doesn't work. There's a chance it might have been fixed in 6300s, but it's kind of a gamble. |
