Star Fox Adventures painfully slow -- anything to be done? - regnad - 03-10-2011

Star Fox Adventures seems to often just drag.

Sometimes it gets up to 100%, but others, like the main hub, plod along at 40% or so, and movie cut scenes hover in the 30s.

My specs are in my sig, and I'm using r7302x64 with the settings recommended in this thread.

Is there anything to be done, or is this just the best my computer can do? Prince of Persia, for example, runs at a pretty smooth 80-100% with the same settings/version.
