1st time running Dolphin w/ Ubuntu and problems - williammanda - 03-10-2011

I installed Dolphin via synaptic package manager on my Ubuntu machine and I seem to have a couple of problems. First my specs are:

Core 2 Duo 6400
1 MB ram
Nvidia 9600 GT 512MB
1080p TV
Wiimote w/ motion plus
Blue tooth adapter
Ubuntu 10.10 32 bit
Dolphin r7309

1. Wiimote - I read several posts on getting the Wiimote to work. I ended up trying this link:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CWiiD
The Wiimote seems to be working due to the fact that I get feedback from the gui that the buttons have been depressed. Next I started Dolphin and selected the Wiimote icon, selected refresh and depressed buttons 1 and 2 on the remote. I got the 1st channel led on and vibration in the Wiimote. Which is reflected in log 1 photo. If I reboot the computer, I can't get the CWiiD gui to connect or get the #1 LED and vibration when trying to connect in Dolphin. Also in Dolphin log photo this line is missing, /build/buildd/dolphin-emu-2.0+svn7309/Source/Core/Core/Src/HW/WiimoteReal/IONix.cpp:170 N[Wiimote]: Connected to wiimote 1. It seems there is an issue upon reboot with the blue tooth adapter. I can remove / re-insert the adapter while the computer is on and the Wiimote connects normally.

2. When I start a game another window opens but is black, except for the header, whether in full screen or not. See attached photo.

My understanding to play a game...all I need to do is load Dolphin, connect the Wiimote, select a file to play and I should see the game....is this correct ? Or is there something I'm missing?
Thanks

Any ideas on my problem?

Basically, you're right. Just load and play ;P
There are sometimes various problems with specific games that need tweaking, perhaps in graphics section of Dolphin..
Check in forum for specific Tiles.
