I am using Dolphin on Mac OS X 10.6.6 and in games when I try to press the keys assigned to the buttons nothing happens. I have tried everything, please help!

Which game?
Which Dolphin version?

All games and every version since r7312.

select in the top left corner (dropdown-list) Keyboard/Mouse (wiimote-config)
maybe your controller is Primäry Selected

According to soren, input is currently broken on OS X.

I'm having the same trouble. According to some other posts on this forum, I need to choose New GC Pad for my controller, but that's not an option. The file is in my ~/Library/Application Support/Dolphin/Config , but I can't select it within the Configuration panel. Only options are "standard controller, GBA, and AM-baseband."

I guess that's inconsequential, since you are saying that input is broken at the moment, but I thought I'd add a spot of information for future forum-goers.

There are no longer input plugins.
The built in GCPad config is what became of "GCPad New".
