what is the recommended notebook? - andrew.corsi - 03-09-2011 Hello, ![]() I'll buy a notebook and I was wondering what are the best to run the dolphin? ...Cheapest please... RE: what is the recommended notebook? - metalnumb - 03-09-2011 To run dolphin at playable speeds for any game you need at least : 1-Intel Core ix CPU with Clock Higher than 3GHZ, Dolphin uses 2 cores and could make use of 3 Cores (not recommended). 2-Good mid-End graphics Card if you wanna go higher than 720p (never use integrated Intel GMA cause that Sucks). 3-At Least 2GB of RAM. 4-Finally Windows Seven x64,it performs Way Better than the 32bit version and older OS's. RE: what is the recommended notebook? - andrew.corsi - 03-09-2011 Thank you very much. Thk RE: what is the recommended notebook? - metalnumb - 03-09-2011 Well,If You Use The DSP LLE Plugin (use the search function for more information) you can enable the option:- "LLE on thread" Which will dedicate a third core for DSP Emulation (Speed Things Up/Reduce Stuttering) RE: what is the recommended notebook? - admin89 - 03-09-2011 Wait for Sandy Bridge which can turbo boost to 3Ghz+ if you have 1000$+ Or get one like mine for 700$ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aBX1dqU-30 And quad core only give you a few more FPS ,not worth it RE: what is the recommended notebook? - dannzen - 03-09-2011 buy one for 399 or 499$ and spend the rest in upgrading your rig...
