I downloaded the direct x runtime file, and the same error still comes up

Well, have you tried to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package? I think, Dolphin needs both the 2010 and the 2008 runtime.

While I know that for some weird reason installing both helped your pal, that is simply wrong. Stop suggesting that, please. (btw I really shouldn't need to tell this all the time to you, it's getting kinda annoying)

What Squall said, "doesn't work" tells us little to nothing about your problem. This question has been asked and answered probably a hundred times here. Search the forums, google around, and read the FAQs before making a thread here (or bumping a one year old one). Also take note of this announcement regarding the forum rules.
