Dolphin, the 3DS Emulator - Diathorus - 03-02-2011 The specs of the 3DS are revealed; it seems the 3DS is more powerful than the Wii, because it needs the power for 3D processing. Now, do you think it would be possible to emulate this? I think it would be possible, but the speed would be decreased by around 30% of normal Wii games... RE: Dolphin, the 3DS Emulator - Kein - 03-02-2011 Just compiled last revision of 3Dolphin and so far looks nice (no D3D11 support tho, u don't have dx11 compatible card; OGl is fine too anyway). Speed loss is hueg, yeah. Around 13 fps here. RE: Dolphin, the 3DS Emulator - boogerlad - 03-02-2011 The specs aren't as useful as you think. Are there any docs? Is it reversed engineered yet? You're missing a lot of info needed to make an emulator, so no. RE: Dolphin, the 3DS Emulator - KHRZ - 03-02-2011 Does seem like it will be emulatable at fullspeed, after all the years it will take to write the emu

Wrong =P I can use DX11 RE: Dolphin, the 3DS Emulator - ector - 03-02-2011 Well...... let's try a somewhat serious reply ![]() IF it's not encrypted/DRM-ed to hell, and IF someone manages to dump the games, someone will emulate it eventually. It won't be the Dolphin project since the hardware is not related at all. Dolphin supports two consoles, GC and Wii, because their hardware is very similar. |
