Looking to buy a gamer PC...and - dorvic - 03-01-2011 looking at this one from Tiger Direct http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6899114&CatId=114 If the link doesn't work, the PC is a: Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system Intel Core i7 950 3.06 GHz Processor Dual Radeon 5770's in Crossfire mode 12GB DDR3 Memory 1TB Hard Drive It's selling for $1,499 Is this a good deal (and a good PC for Dolphin?) If anyone has suggestions for another Dolphin PC setup, I'm all ears (and have about $1,500 to spend). Thanks, Vic RE: Looking to buy a gamer PC...and - ajaxxx - 03-01-2011 (03-01-2011, 04:28 PM)dorvic Wrote: looking at this one from Tiger Direct nice rig, will play dolphin with no problem. Might want to consider building one from the ground up though. saves you lots of money and it's fun to build. You'll also end up with a MUCH nicer rig for the 1499 you are looking into spending. Most motherboards come with step by step instructions on how to build the new rig. You can also try searching for vids on how to build. But still, nice computer, and it will play dolphin just fine. RE: Looking to buy a gamer PC...and - NaturalViolence - 03-02-2011 I would get a GTX 560 or GTX 570 instead of dual 5770s. But yes those are good specs.
