slow speed x mac osx 10.6.6 x SMG - neverendingstory - 02-15-2011 Hi everyone, I hope you can help me, I run Dolphin R7171 on an Imac 27" Intel Core i5 2,66 Gh 4 Go Ram 1 To HD snow leopad 10.6.6 ATI Radeon HD 4850 512 Mo And games are too slow (SMG exemple): FPS: 30 SPEED: 50 % Is it a problem from OpenGl, from my graphic card capacity ? We can't add plugins in Dolphin mac version to fix that ? Did you find a solution for slow games on osX ? Screenshot in attachment Thanks for answers RE: slow speed x mac osx 10.6.6 x SMG - jgas - 03-02-2011 I need an answer too! RE: slow speed x mac osx 10.6.6 x SMG - Weavel33 - 03-02-2011 I imagine it's because your cpu's clock speed isn't all that fast.:/ RE: slow speed x mac osx 10.6.6 x SMG - neverendingstory - 03-02-2011 (03-02-2011, 05:54 AM)Weavel33 Wrote: I imagine it's because your cpu's clock speed isn't all that fast.:/ humm is it possible with the last Imac Intel Core i5 ?... strange, did you tried to play Super Mario Galaxy with "enable CPU access" ? RE: slow speed x mac osx 10.6.6 x SMG - Weavel33 - 03-02-2011 Yes, I believe "enable cpu access" is required to get the game to work properly, but like I said, your 2.66 GHz quad core is what's keeping you from achieving decent speeds in a cpu intensive game like Super Mario Galaxy. RE: slow speed x mac osx 10.6.6 x SMG - yellobello - 03-18-2011 Hi, same here! I have a 3.52GHz C2Q 9550 and dolphin works totally smooth under windows. (latest build) However, Snow Leopard is sooo slow. (slow leopard ??) "enable cpu access" flag doesn´t help at all. |
