Is my Hardware suitable - satrocker - 02-14-2011 First...sorry for my Englisch...but i try my best. ![]() My Hardware is: windows xp 32bit with an intel core 2 Quad cpu Q6700 with 2,67GHZ and 3,25GB Ram. My GPU is a Sapphire Radeon HD4870 Vapor X with 1 GB. Now my Question. Is this Hardware suitable for Dolphin or is it too undersized? Some Games are running but some are very slow. I have the newest Version r7128. RE: Is my Hardware suitable - silveruniverse - 02-14-2011 I cant see any problems, should run well could get 64bit OS though, from what i've seen (someone correct me if im wrong) the 32bit Dolphin versions dont run as fast as 64bit RE: Is my Hardware suitable - jeffb8810 - 02-14-2011 dolphin isnt perfect, so some games wont run correctly. I would say your computer is fine and should run most games at playable speed. You could overclock your cpu to get better performance. I'm running just a core2duo e8400 OC to 3.5ghz and an 8800gts 512mb, most games run fine for me (at least the ones I play: goldeneye, mariokart). For games that are running slow for you try searching the forums for similar results from other users for the same game. RE: Is my Hardware suitable - NaturalViolence - 02-14-2011 Overclock your cpu and set efb copy to texture and you should be fine with most games. RE: Is my Hardware suitable - satrocker - 02-14-2011 Thank you for the Answers. Good to know, that the Hardware is okay.
