What does dolphin use to play the thp movie files of SMG? This question came to my head by wondering why doesn't dolphin use MPlayer to play the thp files of SMG. If anyone knows the answer to my question or if anyone decides to make a revision of dolphin where MPlayer plays the thp movie files of SMG, please notify me. If anyone doesn't know where to get MPlayer, ask me and I'll tell you.

Dolphin does not use MPlayer to play videos because dolphin does not use HLE for the cpu.

If dolphin doesn't use MPlayer to play the videos, can someone make a revision that does use MPlayer to play the videos. Back to my original question, what does dolphin use to play the videos of SMG, do the files on the rom contain program information for the player, or does dolphin have that built in?

Dolphin just emulates that code. As far as Dolphin knows, it's just another scene in the game.
