Blocky Textures - dmeagher101 - 02-10-2011 Hi, I'm new to dolphin, but when ever I play games (I've only got two so far, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess) the textures appear blocky and very pixelated. What should I do to fix this? Also, how would you rate my specs for playing dolphin? Specs Mac OS X v10.6.6 Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz 2 GB RAM @1067 MHz nVidia Ge Force 9400M w/ 256 MB shared with main memory. RE: Blocky Textures - NaturalViolence - 02-10-2011 Quote:Also, how would you rate my specs for playing dolphin? Bad but not absymal. 2.26 GHz is a really low cpu clock rate (by modern standards). And a 9400m is not a very good gpu. RE: Blocky Textures - KHRZ - 02-11-2011 More blocky than this? ![]() Just to make sure you aren't complaining about the game's native low-res textures RE: Blocky Textures - inteGReddy - 02-11-2011 maybe efb scale is set too low? RE: Blocky Textures - NaturalViolence - 02-11-2011 We won't know until he decides to tell us what we need to know. RE: Blocky Textures - dmeagher101 - 02-11-2011 No, they're really blocky. Take a look.[attachment=5399][attachment=5400] Sorry guys, here's some more information. I'm using revision 7108. Settings Enable Dual Core-Checked Enable Idle Skipping-Checked Enable Cheats-Not checked Framelimit: Auto Skip GC Bios-Checked JIT Recompiler Lock Threads to Cores-Unchecked DSP LLE on threat-Unchecked Anisotropic Filtering: 1x Anti-Aliasing: None EFB Scaled Copy Checked EFB Scale: Fractional Enable EFB Copy to Texture That's everything, although now I'm pretty sure its my low-end computer that's causing problems. thanks for all your help! RE: Blocky Textures - NaturalViolence - 02-12-2011 Looks like a driver issue. MACOSX claims another victim. RE: Blocky Textures - dmeagher101 - 02-14-2011 I've figured it out. I disabled OpenCL, and that fixed the problem. Thanks for all you're help. |
