What happen with my friends' computers ? - winnejiro - 05-24-2009
Hello everybody !
In this holiday, I had to reapair my friends' computers.
When I finish repair I had to try to run Dolphin-Emu 2745 their computers.
These are their current computers are:
1st computer is:
CPU: Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2180 @ 2,000 MHz
RAM: 1,024 MB DDR2 @ 667 Mhz
Video Card: ASUS X1550 Series with 512 MB
Mainboard: ASUS P5LD2-X/1333
OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2 (x86)
And the 2nd computer is:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T8100 @ 2,100 MHz
RAM: 2,048 MB (I sorry for type and speed)
Video Card: ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 with 256 MB
Mainboard: Sony VAIO VGN-CR35S/W
OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2 (x86)
Well! When I run it with my favorite game on their current computers.
They aren't display any graphic in Dolphin-Emu 2745 with all settings
.So! , Please tell me, What happen with their computers ?

So, what kind of repair you do? hardware malfunction or viruses?
Check the system using dxdiag tool, if no problems found, try update their graphic card driver.
Umm.. and to be sure, the Dolphin can running the game, right? (Without graphic == black screen?)
Are you using Dolphin program from their hard drive or fresh downloaded file?
Make sure they had installed VC++ 2008 SP1 and updated their DirectX.

Hello Downloadaja and Daco !
Yes, I had repair their computer for the Operating System and everything you were said.
And they are haven't any error with DirectX.
O-Oh! I'm forgoten to update their video cards.
And Yes, I had installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 (x86) and DirectX 9.0c on their computers.
I'm ran Dolphin-Emu 2745 on their hard drives when I finish repair. (when they were healthy)
And Yes again, They are emulate my favorite game without graphic even OpenGL.
Well so!, Please ask me again, How do I can repair this problem ?

have you tried doing a clean install of the OS? if its not a hardware issue, and it is a software issue, performing a clean install should fix any problems, once everything has been reinstalled

Which driver do you use for those ATI (graphic) cards ?
I have another PC plugged on my HDTV , it has an ATI 4670 in it , I use Catalyst 9.5 drivers , and they're doing the job right with Dolphin.
Anyway , the only other reason I see , might be that you are using an "Old" version of Dolphin !!
I know they are a lot of them ,everyday ,but , I really think , the newer , the better (IN MOST CASES OF COURSE)

Are you using the same Dolphin setting as your computer?
And like abfab126 said, use newer or older Dolphin, since r2745 was changing Nvidia Cg to 2.2 and that had impact to other graphic card.
And make sure the color quality mode of their display were 32bit.

I remember, I had formatted C:\ partition before install OS.
Oh! I'm sorry for version of video card's driver.
Okay! Well!, I'll update for Dolphin-Emu most frequency as possible.
I'll update their video cards' drvers.
I've tried every setting but they still don't work
.Oh!, And one thing you were said is really true is:
I can see the graphics only on NVIDIA GeForces' Video Cards on Dolphin-Emu 2745.

Look , I think that is exactly what Winneijro meant to say , Most of its games run well with Geforce ! (I think that's what he meant) while his friends are having issues with theirs ATI ^^
