Emulated Shake Problem - SonicPhayze - 02-05-2011

Hi, I'm having trouble with the emulated shake feature of the wiimote plugin. I'm currently playing Wario Land: Shake It, and I am using a gamepad to play (Xbox 360 gamepad to be specific). So I've got the "Shake" action mapped to the Y button on the Xbox 360 controller. When I hold down Y, it shakes at random intervals, and not a solid shake. I've also tried mapping it to the default keyboard function and that didn't work either. Is it supposed to do this? Is there a way I can fix this? Thank you.

Show a screenshot of your wiimote config.

What version are you using because that looks like the Wiimote Plugin setup for one of the older versions.

Well I updated to the newest Dolphin, and here is the new Wiimote Config:

I figured updating would help some but I still have the same problem. It's a little different though. Now it shakes for about half a second, pauses, then resumes.

I have the same problem with Warioland:Shake it. Shaking doesn't work with an emulated wiimote. I would guess it has to do with the speed of the shakes. I'm not even getting the intermittent shaking described by SonicPhayze. I'm using r7276. Is there a way to make it work?

You guys realize you can only do that ground punch every few seconds in "Warioland: Shake It"?

RE: Emulated Shake Problem - artantaaa - 03-05-2011

I can't do the ground punch at all. I've tried mapping all of the emulated wiimote functions to my gamepad, and nothing seems to work. This makes sense to me, because none of the wiimote options seem to to describe the movement the game is asking for. I don't know what is going on with the shake buttons though. They work fine in NSMBWii. The only solution I could find suggested using a program that records actual wiimote motions and plays them back at the push of a button. It seems like a hassle to me, plus the shaking is what makes the game fun. I think I'll just get a wiimote for this one.
