Online Update Feature? - ichimitch - 02-01-2011 Hi, I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong spot.. not sure. Was just reading on the Dolphin site that suggestions for new feature are welcome and I was just wondering if it may be possible to include an auto update feature to update to the latest build when booting up? RE: Online Update Feature? - Squall Leonhart - 02-01-2011 no. bad. crazy. RE: Online Update Feature? - neobrain - 02-01-2011 Possible if anyone feels like modifying our server to support it and add support in the code for it. Which is not going to happen
RE: Online Update Feature? - haxnhaxn - 02-01-2011 !!!this would be uber!!! RE: Online Update Feature? - ichimitch - 02-01-2011 k, was worth a shot RE: Online Update Feature? - KHRZ - 02-02-2011 This would basically update Dolphin everytime you started it.... does this server really have that much bandwhich to spend? Well I update every time I use Dolphin. So, personally, I at least would be using up just as much bandwidth as I do now... only I wouldn't have to do a manual re-install and re-configure every time.. but meh, I understand that it would require a lot of work from the coders. RE: Online Update Feature? - neobrain - 02-02-2011 That's the wrong way to update anyway, you're supposed to use a clean config everytime you update and only take over GC and Wii saves.
