r6987 speed regression - IceD_X - 01-31-2011 I see a speed regression with r6987 with Resident Evil Rebirth Wii. Lowest configuration possible (Cpu Access disabled, Anisotropic 1x, No AA, VBeam Enabled etc etc.). When i choose Jill, in the hall with Wesker and Barry i see 24-27 fps. With r6906 i can play at full speed. RE: r6987 speed regression - skid - 01-31-2011 Try disabling accurate VBeam. It sometimes slows down some games. RE: r6987 speed regression - IceD_X - 01-31-2011 Fast reply: I tried your suggestion about disable VBeam. The situation dont change. Ever 24-27 fps. RE: r6987 speed regression - inteGReddy - 02-01-2011 ha, resident evil games are slow enough. RE: r6987 speed regression - emu-muncher - 02-01-2011 Yeah I noticed a loss of 10fps with HLE and LLE when I went from r6837 to test r6980 in SMG at the observatory same settings. RE: r6987 speed regression - emu-muncher - 02-03-2011 So I tracked down the revision that causes slowdowns for me in SMG. I think its r6971 which was a FIFO commit. r6970 runs fine but r6972 loses 10fps with the same settings. Couldn't test r6971 itself because it did not compile on dolphin-emu.org. ![]()
