Star pointer and any IR input not registering - suprdupr - 01-27-2011
Everything works great, except this.
All games load, the wiimote and nunchucks work fine except when i need to point at something on the screen.
Am i missing something here? do i need that wii bar too?
have an IO gear GBU421 dongle and original wiimote
tested with Mario galaxy 2 and Twilight princess
any help would be appreciated

this question is too silly did you actually play on the wii device if so them explain to me how do you point at the tv if the wii bar is not on top or bottom of that tv! its the same thing on a screen. It won't magically work without it.

ya i understand its somewhat silly
no i dont use the Wii i use my PC... but the PC is hooked up to my TV
from the instructions on the website i understood that all i need is the bluetooth dongle in the PC for the wiimote to work ( since the connector on the wii bar doesnt seem like it would fit anywhere )
but i guess you're saying i need the Bluetooth dongle and the wii bar
where would i plug the wii bar into? the connector is kinda odd
ok after a bit of digging i guess i'll just use 2 candles for the time being.
question tho, what do you guys use?

Buy wireless Sensor bar (use battery) or USB Sensor bar on amazon.com.I use USB homemade one
