Using the default Wiimote settings for the IR section, shouldn't Up be labeled as "Cursor Y+" instead of "Cursor Y-"?

Not really. Screen coordinates start from the top left (0, 0) and increase as you go down/right.

Ah, okay. I was thinking of (0,0) being in the center..
