[Wii] Settings Help - DarkPhoenix13 - 01-13-2011

Hello my friends I'm trying to emulate a problem in the dolphin PBR and Residents Evils, as you can see I do not think that is the configuration of my computer, so I will leave the settings to check the dolphin. Sorry for not speak English as well. I do not understand why the loss of frames in that game time is always 10 ~ 20 in Residents Evils, while the PBR is 17 ~ 25.

Hi DarkPhoenix Smile

For Resident Evil 0 Use the r6551 Wink

Then you have to set a better config on dolphin...

Use:
EFB Copy on TEXTURE (not ram!)
Disable Safe Texture cache (dont need)
Set Anisotropic Filtering to 4x
Disable Antialiasing (ATM for test the speedup increase)

in DSP Enable Audio Throttle and 32Khz.

Happy Gaming with 90% - 100% Speed Wink

If you need some help just ask.

Look I will not lie and gave a considerably improved since 22 is now in a few times and getting 26 in most cases, the more I'm still kinda sad to be better because it had to be over 30. I can not understand why my computer does not run it oO

RE: [Wii] Settings Help - NaturalViolence - 01-14-2011

Try revision 6505. Also turn off audio throttle, turn off "use fps for limiting", set the framelimit to 60 and set the sampling rate to 48khz since that's the output format for the backend and therefore does not impact performance in any way.

RE: [Wii] Settings Help - IceD_X - 01-14-2011

Just for ask...

What OS do you use? Vista, XP or 7? 32 or 64bit?

With the Windows 7 64bit the games run slighty better (you can gain 2-5 fps compared to 32bit).

@NaturalViolence
Thanks for the extra information about the 48Khz! I thought that would slow down. Smile

RE: [Wii] Settings Help - DarkPhoenix13 - 01-15-2011

I use 64-bit Win7
Both the Resident Evil 0 Wii and GC had a small gain in frames using the 6505 version. The GC is taking between 26 and 30. I do not understand why new versions do not, still do something to win and frames?

RE: [Wii] Settings Help - IceD_X - 01-15-2011

ATM i play with Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil Zero [Wii] and this work ok.

r6838 has been set up by the FIFO, which would allow Re 0, Soul Calibur 2 and other games, to go faster than previous versions.

We are on track, just be patient Smile
