hello i can only select the dsound version in windows, any way i can use the openal version of the hle plgin on windows?

You will need to download and install openal software. Make sure that your sound card is openal compatible. And after all that, you will still not get anymore sound, and the game will run really slow. Openal is very much a work in progress and right now it really isn't any better than the current DSound.

yeah i know, i run linux version and guess it uses the openal, rly buggy, but its open , so i gota love it
