[GC] Baten Kaitos Unplayable Flickering Room - DarkDespair5 - 01-03-2011 The game in the second room (after touching the moon post thing) of the 'Labyrinth of Mirrors' level in Baten Kaitos has it flicker light and dark very rapidly, making that room unplayable (you can barely see anything): Screenshot of the dark part of the flicker: http://bayimg.com/MACcKaAdG Settings: http://bayimg.com/macCPaadG http://bayimg.com/NaCcbaADG This i7 950 (450 GTS cards in SLI) can run BK at full speed anywhere even the introduction which is horribly slow on my laptop. I tried both Lectrode's SSE4.2 optimized build and the latest SVN as well as some older SVNs. No dice. All I can recommend is to use the DxD9/11 plugin and make sure you have cpu->efb access disabled, and also make sure EFB copy is on and set to RAM and not Texture. Also, flickering could be fixed with VSync, try setting that on as well. I'm guessing the memory card changed somehow? Arghh. |
