Problems with Zelda TP - TougeMonster - 12-30-2010 My first and biggest problem is the game has a mirror image effect, the video is flipped horizontally but the UI is still the right way, this happens with both openGL and Direct3D9. (just found out that Wii version is mirrored lmao that was tripping me out) secondly a quarter of the screen is blurry when using EFB to RAM iv tried the EFB scaled copy fix but its still blured. and my last problem is the only way i can get the game from running to fast is to cap the fps at 30, Audio throttle wont work Im using Windows 7 64bit RE: Problems with Zelda TP - NaturalViolence - 12-31-2010 Either use a newer revision or use efb to texture. RE: Problems with Zelda TP - TougeMonster - 12-31-2010 Yea efb to texture works but then it discolors the map >< I was trying out some different revisions last night can u recommend a good revision for ZTP thats just all round good revision for ZTP -Thanks Greg RE: Problems with Zelda TP - NaturalViolence - 01-01-2011 You're in luck. Me and xtreme2damax (another forum user) designed a custom build for TP, but he only compiled an x64 version before he left. So you're lucky that you're running a 64 bit windows os, anyways here it is: http://naturalviolence.webs.com/Dolphin%20x64%20SVN%20Revision%205874.7z Make sure ZTP speedup hack (might be called ZTP hack, or hyrule field hack) is checked. It's either in the graphics plugin settings or in the game properites. I would recommend that you use d3d9 for this game. I would also still recommend that you use efb to texture even though the top left quadrant bluriness will proably be gone with efb to ram in this build so long as efb scaled copy is enabled. EFB to texture is much faster than efb to ram and the game is fully playable with efb to texture (do you really care that the minimap and dungeonmaps are black and white?). If you use efb to ram your framerate/gamespeed will drop in certain areas. RE: Problems with Zelda TP - TougeMonster - 01-02-2011 wow i was looking all over at the xtemu forum hoping i would find something like this thanks a million, i will take your advice and use the efb to texture i sense that my comp will strugle when i get upto Hyrule fields. Thanks a million dude much appreciate the help.Oh and one last question i heard that USA ver of ZTP is buggy and crashes alot? -Greg RE: Problems with Zelda TP - NaturalViolence - 01-02-2011 Quote:Oh and one last question i heard that USA ver of ZTP is buggy and crashes alot? Not really. Some people have complained about corrupted saves with ntsc on recent revisions, but that's unconfirmed and is more likely a bug with newer revisions. I've been using an ntsc dump for over a year and have never had any problems with it, same for thousands of others on this forum and others. If you're in the USA I would suggest ntsc over pal. |
