Upgrading Dolphin - JorgeVdB - 12-30-2010

Hi, so here is my problem, I like to update my Dolphin emulator regularly, but I don't know which files I should copy/pasta from the old to the new in order to keep my config/saves.

Btw: I really love how open-source software gets so many good updates Big Grin

Go to your dolphin directory (wherever you put it). Locate the User folder inside dolphin. Inside that you will see some folders called statesaves (stores your savestates), screenshots (stores your screenshots), GC (stores your GC memory card), Wii (stores your wii saves and data). Just copy the contents of those over to the new dolphin revision.

I always make a backup and then unzip the new version into the old folder overwriting everything... Hope that doesnt break things too hard. Time to time i do the copy save folder metod.
