Compressed roms - Sidrack - 05-17-2009

Question:

Is Dolphin capable of accepting any zipped roms?

Using 7-Zip, ZIP or RAR?

Thanks! Cool

Nope, it can read ISO, GCM & GCZ (maybe other extensions that aren't coming to mind), but not compressed files.

EDIT: However, you can right click on the game in the Dolphin menu and choose Compress ISO. It will then create a new compressed version of the file. But it won't be in the standard ISO, RAR, ZIP format. (Example, GC games will be compressed with the .GCZ file extension only readable by Dolphin)
