[Wii]Sports - batnas - 05-12-2009
Hey folks
I am trying to run wii sports, but can't.
Everytime i try it freezes, and i havent found a solution in here, just a lot of people saying it works perfect.
I have it in EUR and USA (one of ma' friends)

Hy batnas,
WII Sports isn't really perfect - but almost playable:
- 'Optimize Quantizizers' unchecked
- 'Enable Idle Skipping' checked - otherwise the game freezes
- disable 'Enable DTK Music' and 'Enable Other Autio (Throttle)'
at DSP-Settings for a few more fps
- Best sound with rev. up to build 2929 - later build have sometimes
loud buzzing/crickling sound (testet on different pc's)

and when i try to run it in rev3207, it does not freeze, but i need the picture, mostly white screen

I don't know why - but at the game.ini stands:
'Hack = 4' (Sonic and the black knight-hack) - and with these
setting you are getting mostly white screens...
When you edit your RSPP01.ini in User/GameConfig, so that there
is 'Hack = 0' you gets the real screens....

well i am bumping an old thread as i cannot find a working solution for this game. I am pretty new to Dolphin and only game i have played so far is New Super Mario Bros, which works alright although it crashes some times, but rare.
Any way I am having issues with Wii Sports (NTSC), i have tried a couple of diffrent builds (5475M, 4706 and 4771). Most success i have had is with 4771. Main problem is that if i use "Enable Dual Core" then the game freezes Randomly in a minute or so. I have tried both Open GL and Direct 3D. Game doesnt crash when i disable dual core but my fps drops to avg of 23, however with dual core i get avg of 50 fps.
the other settings that i have enabled are
Idle Skiping
Cheats (dont know y)
HLE the IPL
JIT compiler
DSP on thread
Use EurGB60 mode
I have tried both direct 3d and openGL with resolution of 640x480 windowed, fullscreen.
Anyone has idea about the solution? so that i can get playable fps.
PC specs are AMD X2 5000+ BE, Nvidia 8800 gt, 4GB ram.

man i got the same setteings as you and i freeze. 5456.
pcs specs are Q6600 @ 3.0ghz, Ati sapphire 5850, 4gb ram.
