Fire Emblem Save Game - MrRoivas - 05-03-2009

How do I import a save game from online? I tried putting the data the file where the emulator kept the gamesave data and then renamed the new save file to what the old one was, but it didn't work. Help?

RE: Fire Emblem Save Game - nosound97 - 05-03-2009

It needs to be converted to format that Dolphin reads

RE: Fire Emblem Save Game - MrRoivas - 05-03-2009

I did that. It was a .bin file, I changed it into a .dat file, which is what the emulator uses. No dice.

Not rename it, convert it. Don't know how though.

Maybe this helps:

Tutorial: How to unpack saves in .bin format
Original post by author: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=123406
Quick instructions:
- unrar http://www.tepetaklak.com/data/FE100-1.2b.rar
- unzip http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gnuwin3...-1-bin.zip
- copy libeay32.dll from openssl\bin into the FE100 folder
- run key grabber
- press 'get from interwebz'
- press 'get stuff from a savefile' (point it to the .bin)
- press 'make me happy' (ignore the error message)
- run fe100
- point savefile to your bin (from ...)
- click unpack savefile
- The savefile now has folder with a name similar to "0001000052534250". (The last 8 letters differs for each game). Now in the Dolphin folder "User\Wii\title\00010000", locate the folder which is named the same as the last 8 letters of the converted folder (would be 52534250 as from the example above). Inside it, there is a folder named "data". Now insert all the files from folder "0001000052534250" in there, replacing the old files. Note that you must have played the game in Dolphin and saved, to create the save folder for the game in Dolphin.

I am fine till the "run FE100" step. Then it says "This application has failed because it's side by side configuration is incorrect." This may because your second download link didn't work.

RE: Fire Emblem Save Game - LP-Ever - 05-03-2009

Yes you´re right. Sorry. Here´s the correct link:
http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?groupname=gnuwin32&filename=openssl-0.9.8h-1-bin.zip&use_mirror=dfn

RE: Fire Emblem Save Game - MrRoivas - 05-04-2009

Hmm. Dled the file and put it into the FE100 folder, still the "side by side" error.

RE: Fire Emblem Save Game - LP-Ever - 05-05-2009

Do you mean Fire Emblem Path of Radiance?? Because I probably could give you my savegame (I´m playing it, too! Which Chapter?)

RE: Fire Emblem Save Game - MrRoivas - 05-06-2009

What I mean is a savegame for FE: Radient Dawn which has a FE: Path of Radiance save where all the characters have max stats giving good bonuses for the characters in Radient Dawn.
