MGS TwinSnakes ( Back Patch: Base Reg Not RBX) Only Game I've Tried - Akenny01 - 04-30-2009
Ok So I only got dolphin yesterday, And twin snakes, Its really the only game in interested in playing as Ive never had it when I had my GC and Im A Big MGS Fan,
So I Try To Play It And I Get These Errors One After Another

My graphics Card Is 9800 Gtx
All Latest Drivers Installed
8GB Ram, I Can Run Crysis And A Lot Other PC Games, I Think My Machine Should Be Ok To Run This To? I Would Be Greatfull For Any Help

You should hold Enter until these errors are gone
I don't have the game but a lot of people were explaining this.

Have you updated your directx 9c (and yes you need 9c updated even if you have 10) and C++ redist? links can be found here. Are you trying to boot game from an optical drive?
*EDIT* Are you using Win7 graphic drivers? if so downgrade to vista drivers (since win7 is basically a better vista)

Im using win vista 64 drivers yeah ,
ok Ive updated my dirextx 9,
And Still twin snakes wont run
If I click enter on the errors they go
the game starts, then the errors come back I click enter again and after a little while (without even getting to play) the game crashes

hey, i am having this same issue. was it ever resolved? if so how? i am trying to run Twin snakes also. when i go to run it, it sais "Back Patch base reg not RBX" then i say okay to the fallowing 8 messages. and nothing happens, no game boot, nothing. any ideas? i took this threads advice and updated everything, drivers and DX9. so im sort of lost as to what to do next.
im on vista 64, with 4gb ram and 2.0 dual core prosessor. dunno if that helps with any sort of troubleshooting.
any help would be awesome!

i have the same problem too, ive downloaded the game mgs twin snakes and i had a hard time findin the emulator for it, thought found it but it dont work right,
the laptop i have is a emachine e525 with windows 7 home premuim
ive found a few emu but the game laggs
if some1 can help me it would be great b-cuz i like to play the remake of this game
