just got dolphin yesterday so i'm a noob, however, based on my experience with extremely low fps and speed while fighting in arc rise fantasia (5-7 fps/10-15% speed), i'm finally tempted to upgrade my graphics card. what i have is ancient (pilfered from my old 4700 dell) and it wasn't all that great to begin with

If the link doesn't work ,direct link :http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LCV2PFV6
Config dolphin : http://www.dolphin-emu.org/configuration-explanation.html
This game is slow in old rev but fullspeed and the sound has been fixed correctly in lastest rev
thanks.
i had the 2.0, a different r6093, and svn 6075 but this one you linked me to has been a vast improvement (i tried to get that yesterday but the site link led me to a 404 at the site)
running through retea forest is now at 20-25 fps (used to be 11) and battles are now at 12-15 fps.
i was supposed to oc my cpu to at least 3.0ghz last month but i kept putting it off hoping the ddr2 prices would drop again. hope that helps even more
thanks again for the help
Your video card is the bottle neck ,I play this game 35-40 in battle,50-60FPS in the forest
I'm currently having sound problems in this game too. Normally, in fields and most battles, I get full speed, yet in animated cutscenes, it slows down to 30-50%
I followed the recommended settings, and have framelimit off and audio throttle on currently. If it helps anything, I'm on Win7 32bit. Should I consider going 64 or could the problem be from my hardware instead?
ok. my vid card has changed and my fps in battle is now 28-30 (outside of kopin village) but the sound is stuttering (not that it matters to much as i usually play with the sound off and have my own music playing)
i had to uncheck opencl due to dolphin crashing whenever i choose to stop it
i just downloaded the latest 6099 versions from Lectrode so i'll see how that goes
edit: solved the opencl issue. had to get the newest ati stream sdk

I tried that along with the 6099 build, no dice. Guess I should try going 64bit.
check the site and try the various newest 6108 builds
